About Cindy T.

Cindy TurriettaFounded in 2002, CindyT.Consulting, LLC was born from a desire to make a career change and a love for computers and the internet. Having developed an interest in marketing over the years and wanting to continue in the computer field, the founder, Cindy Turrietta, decided that Internet marketing was what she wanted to do.

Realizing that an understanding of how web pages are built would be necessary in order to optimize them for search engine ranking, she found some great multimedia classes offered by the San Diego Center for Education and Technology North City/Career Center, and started to learn web design.

She also found a great online course offered by the Academy of Web Specialists that enabled her to earn her SEO (search engine optimization) Certification in 2002. August of 2002 she attended her first Search Engine Strategies Conference in San Jose and met many of the leaders in the field of search engine optimization and internet marketing. Soon thereafter she was working on her first client site and discovering just how much it takes to really make the rankings happen. That site today is still ranking on the first page for all but one of the keywords they wanted.

March 2005 Cindy started the eMarketing Talk Show, a weekly Podcast on Internet Marketing where she has the opportunity to interview experts in the various disciplines of Internet and search marketing and further hone her skills.

Cindy furthered her knowledge and career by working for one of the top agencies and also a large e-commerce site. Her clients today range from small mom-and-pop website owners to larger companies with needs ranging from online advertising to website maintenance and e-newsletter management. She also contracts with other search marketing professionals and agencies helping them with overflow client work.



eMarketing Talk Show

In March of 2005 Cindy Turrietta began co-hosting the eMarketing Talk Show with colleagues Brooke Schumacher and Todd Sarouhan.

The eMarketing Talk Show is a Podcast audio talk show featuring experts in the field of Internet marketing. Interviews include topics such as keywords, meta tags and Web 2.0. Covering the basics of building search engine friendly sites shows also be get into the nitty gritty of just how far you can go without getting banned from the search engines. There are many ways to market a website on the internet, and they cover them all. From Pay per Click to Affiliate Marketing. Everything you ever wanted to know from many of your favorite speakers.

But there is more to marketing a website on the internet than just making it search engine friendly and sitting back and waiting. eMarketing Talk Show is also be about how to make a site that is also user friendly and can produce revenue. How to toe the line between what the search engines want and what is pleasing to the user community is important.
